About

This blog is about two things: guinea pigs and books. I like both, although I’ve noticed I tend to point out what I don’t like about things. Eh. I started it because I noticed a large lack of cute guinea pig pictures I could look at while working and I thought that cute piggies might go nicely with a collection of reviews of the books I’ve read lately (and by lately I mean starting in January of 2010).  I am a librarian with a mini-herd of guinea pigs. I also happen to write novels. I paint and silkscreen too. Oh, and p.s. these are my pigs and my pictures, do not use them without a. contacting me, b. crediting Guinea Pigs and Books, and c. including their names and spelling those little guinea pig names correctly.

And…I have disabled comments. If you would like to contact me, please email me at guineapigsandbooks@gmail.com

If you’d like to guinea pig-ify or animal skull-ify your home, clothing, phone, laptop, greeting cards, journals, and coffee drinking implements (each image is available on a variety of things):
